All About Betty
| Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in central Ohio, and graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Business Education. I have been married to Bob Tice for more than half my life and we have two grown sons, one grandson (16), and a 7 year-old granddaughter. Bob was a career Air Force officer and we moved a lot—so I know just how easy or difficult a move can be—depending on how easy or difficult it is to find suitable housing. We have lived in Columbia since 1979, and I have been a REALTOR for almost that long. I received my Missouri Salesperson’s license in 1979 and my Broker’s license in 1983. I was recognized as the Columbia Board of REALTORS "REALTOR-Salesperson of the Year" in 1986 and as the Missouri Association of REALTORS "REALTOR-Salesperson of the Year" in 1992. "Because you deserve the best" is a tag line I use on most of my printed materials and on the "Real Estate Minutes" I sponsor on KFRU radio every week. To me, this motto means that you deserve a full-time agent who is knowledgeable about the Columbia/Boone County real estate market, one who has made the investment of both time and money to earn the ABR (Accredited Buyers Agent), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate of the REALTORS Institute) designations, and one who has established good working relationships with other REALTORS. That is why I have worked so hard at keeping my skills up to date (becoming computer semi-literate) and continue to take courses and seminars to keep me on top of what is happening in financing, negotiation skills, marketing, advertising, fair housing, buyer's agency, etc. Because you deserve the best, I will work to see that your home-buying or home-selling experience is as easy and hassle-free as it can be and that your transaction is handled in a professional manner. |
